The clinic is conveniently located off Highway #400 from either the north or south onto Dunlop Street. Cedar Pointe Drive runs parallel to the highway.
Walking Mobility Clinics Barrie clinic opened in 2005 by our Pedorthic Director, Ryan Robinson. The clinic was established to serve patients located north of the city of Toronto with professional and comprehensive pedorthic services.
The Barrie clinic has worked very hard to develop an excellent reputation in the medical community for their professional approach to patient care.
Ryan Robinson, B.Kin; C. Ped Tech (C); C. Ped (C); Pedorthic Manager & Director of Operations
Ryan heads up a comprehensive team of professionals which includes a Physician, Registered Nurse, two Certified Pedorthists and two clinic coordinators. Ryan is a Certified Pedorthist with the Pedorthic Assoc. of Canada and sits on the Board of Directors. He is also very active with the College of Pedorthics with Western University in London, Ontario.
Ryan has recently been appointed to the management team of Walking Mobility Clinics as Director of Operations. His role will be to enhance and improve the daily operations of all the clinics in order to better serve our patients and provide a consistent approach to treatment.
Jennifer Fairey, B.Phe(Hons); C.Ped (C)
Jennifer has recently joined the Walking Mobility Clinics team at the Barrie location as a Certified Pedorthist. She has over five years experience in the field of Pedorthics and has had the opportunity to treat various foot disorders and lower limb conditions.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from Laurentian University in Sudbury and earned her C.Ped (C) certification in November 2007.
As with all our clinics, the goal is to create the area’s most comprehensive and professional clinic for the treatment of foot and leg conditions. The clinic houses a large on-site laboratory where custom orthotics and shoe modifications are made.
The clinic coordinators, Nancy and Marcia, are experienced with insurance related issues. They can assist you in clarifying your eligible benefits and provide you with supporting documentation for your claim.
Evening appointments are available for patients requiring appointments outside the normal business hours.
