The North York clinic was founded by two  partners, David Morgan and Beverly Allen.  Both of these professionals have more than 15 years experience as pedorthists and both have extensive expertise providing care to the more compromised patient since they have spent most of their careers in Sunnybrook and Scarborough Centenary Hospital clinics.

Since opening in 2002, the clinic has developed a reputation which includes more than 500 referring doctors and surgeons, which is a statement in itself.

David Morgan, B.Sc. D. Ch., C. Ped Tech (C ), C. Ped (C ), Pedorthist

After emigrating to Canada in 1982, with a B.Sc. in applied biology from the U.K., David graduated with honours in Chiropody in 1986. He then established two hospital Chiropody clinics in Oakville and North York, as well as teaching in the Chiropody program at Toronto General Hospital.

Recognizing the importance of footwear in orthotic management, he became a Pedorthist in 1991 and developed a Pedorthics clinic within Canada’s first “hospital shopping mall” at Scarborough Centenary Health Centre.

David is a long-term member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada and a founding member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada.

Beverly Allen, B.Sc., C. Ped (C, ), Pedorthist

Beverly graduated with an honours degree in Kinesiology from University of Waterloo in 1985. She later managed the pedorthic facility at the Sunnybrook Centre for Independent living for more than ten years. There she was a member of one of the first multi-disciplinary teams to tackle foot-care in Canada. Beverly’s pedorthic services were provided alongside those of orthopaedic surgeons, physiatrists, rheumatologists, prosthetists, orthotists, physiotherapists and occupational therapists.

With over 15 years of pedorthic experience, Beverly became the co-owner of Walking Mobility Clinic (North York) at Don Mills.

Beverly is a long-term member of the Pedorthic Association of Canada and a founding member of the College of Pedorthics of Canada.
